In 2001, William started his career in this industry at the Panyu branch of a Hong Kong gaming trading company, handling import and export of amusement game machines and spare parts.
Three years later, he shifted to customs clearance and joined one of the more prominent brokerage firms in the region. It seemed like a promising career move. Yet he left after just a couple of weeks.
One of his former clients — a buyer he’d collaborated with previously — put a straightforward question to him: would he manage their entire China procurement? This meant sourcing factories, monitoring production throughout the manufacturing process, and conducting pre-shipment quality inspections.
He accepted the offer. Not because he had a blueprint to launch a trading firm, but because someone who knew his capabilities trusted him with their business. That core value is still why San Star exists today.
Jenny joined the team in 2007. Under the brand name San Star, we started developing global clients and expanding our product portfolio. In 2008, we registered sanstargame.com — the very domain you are browsing now. In 2009, we established a Hong Kong entity, Guangzhou San Star Limited. We later wound this down once our operations were fully consolidated in mainland China. In 2012, Guangzhou San Star Electronic Product Ltd. was incorporated in Guangzhou. Ever since, we have sourced and supplied claw machines, kiddie rides, coin-operated amusement equipment, arcade machines, carnival booth games, and all associated spare parts.
We are not a standalone factory. Instead, we serve as your reliable sourcing and supply partner. We manage a network of pre-vetted manufacturing partners, track production schedules and implement rigorous quality control standards.
